Finance Example
Assume you want to borrow a used car costing £6,955 and are offered £1,250 for your part exchange. If you had an additional £375 as a cash deposit, you would need to arrange finance for £5,370.
Certain lenders will only lend amounts to the nearest £1,000, therefore you may have to choose between a £5,000 or £6,000 loan. The £5,000 loan will not be enough to complete the purchase, so you may have to borrow more than you need.
